Our Nursery Class caters for children who will receive the nursery grant during that academic year until they enter our Pre-School room.
All children will be allocated a "Key Worker" who will be responsible
for monitoring your child's progress, developing a close rewarding
relationship and ensuring that they have a happy and enjoyable time
at nursery.
In Nursery Class, the staff deliver an exciting and varied
range of activities in accordance to the Early Years Foundation
Stage, using the child's current interests.
Independence skills really start to develop in this room as children
have free access to the bathroom and are encouraged to try for
themselves with things such as hand washing, pouring drinks,
putting coats and shoes on etc.
The children in our Nursery Class will make full use of our outside
and have their own secure garden, as well as the opportunity to
experience Forest School/Twiglet sessions where they take part in
activities such as mud painting, digging for worms, making mud pies
and much more.
Staff are always on hand to chat with you regarding your child's development and are committed to ensuring nursery is a happy experience for both you and your child.
